Last year, Iran blocked and many other social medias simply because of their founders refused to help the Iranian Government to spy it's citizens.
On the contrary, it looks like Iran are heading towards a tighter and stronger controls on all foreign messaging and social media operating systems within the country that will enable them monitor and censor it's citizens.
All foreign messaging and social media operating in Iran have only one to move data and activity associated with its citizens to the Iranian servers.
In other to comply with this new policy and regulation, the respective companies would need to set up Data Centers In Iran, but the apps would certainly loose a larger number of users by moving into the Iranian Servers.
