Education minister, stakeholders agree on N2,500 as post-UTME screening fee. CBT as being scrapped as a means to screen post UTME candidates.

The Federal Government has not scrapped CBT for The Joint Ad
missions and Matriculation Board.

What was scrapped is the CBT which is personally used by Institutions to screen post UTME candidates.
During the meeting with stakeholders, the HME (Honorable Minister of Education) directed that a maximum of 2500 (Bank charges inclusive) will be charged for the screening process.

In addiction to that, there will no form of screening again instead a fee of N2,500 will be payed in replacement to it.
