September; the fun festival has left the town, life has now returned to its usual flow and property buyers are on the hunt for a new, cosy home. If you’ve plans to put the property on the market this month or the next and have it spruced for the influx of buyers during the autumn, have a look at some awesome tips that’ll guarantee property sell even in busiest times of the year such as this! You can also keep and use these tips during any type of property management and investment.

1. First one’s always simple but a little more elbow grease can make a huge difference! Start by tidying up the home inside out and from top to bottom, remove all the clutter, organise photographs and straighten up everything.

In case the picnic blankets and sports equipment are out of their usual place, put them back and have them preserved for next year.

2. Summer is the ideal time to make the best out of a garden/lawn; that is if you’ve one on your property. But before the season ends and you’re looking forward to selling the home in approaching autumn, have the lawn trimmed which means remove overgrown shrubs, wildflowers that may be poisonous and have everything smooth out.

If you’re finding it entirely difficult, hire an expert gardener or buy a powerful garden cleaning machine which works just like a vacuum, however, more powerful and thorough.

3. While working your way in the garden, most of it is likely to come inside in your living room, on the carpet and other surfaces as small gravels, mud and soot. This is likely to happen if you’ve children or pets so carefully brush the carpet, sweep the floor, wash the doormats and make sure everything’s clean.

You can easily find many industrial-grade cleaners that’ll do the job excellently but make sure they’re floor friendly and harmless for children and pets.

4. Interior design makeover can be achieved greatly during autumn. Raw materials such as stone and wood alongside gold are considered as autumn interior favourites during the season.
Some of the expert interior designers also indicated warm autumnal shades like chocolate brown, terracotta and burgundy are popular. Throw some of these shades on the walls, picture frames and cushions that’ll give your property an attractive touch without breaking the bank.

5. The way viewers see the property makes a huge impact on overall buying behaviour, therefore, you need to cover as much as you can in natural daylight. This is because the sun sets a little earlier in autumn and property/home evaluation is done in daylight.

6. It's possible that potential buyers are unable to visit the property in the daytime so the only choice is to arrange as much lighting as possible. Get new light bulbs, appreciate every corner of the home as buyers are usually intimidated going into the darkened garage for maximum safety. Other than safety, proper lighting would allow viewers to inspect the property in the best possible way and may bid a fair price.

7. In case your property is an apartment with a communal garden, most buyers would still want to get the best out of it therefore keep it well maintained and cleaned. While a full-scale lawn mower won’t do any good here, you’ve to work the traditional scissor-style or hire a professional gardener. Have the small garden in your apartment’s terrace look clean and trimmed by replacing those ominous plants with small colourful flowers arranged neatly in different pots.

Conclusion
Following the above seven tips would definitely work when you’re planning to sell the property during autumn so don’t overlook!
